Czechia finishes the EM on place 8 – Filip becomes MVP

The Czech national team has finished the European championship in 2010 in Austria with the honourable eighth place.
The team around Filip Jicha caught up in the last main round play of the group II 26:26 (16:14) Undecided against the German national team.

However, for Filip the EM was also very successful and especially strenuous. Apart from the eighth place together with his team Filip itself could collect some "titles".

Filip became with a total of 53 gates the best goal scorer of the EM and this although the Czechs already had to finish the tournament after the main round. Besides Filip was chosen as the best left back space player in the all-start team of the tournament and received into the bargain the MVP (Most Valuable player) of the tournament honouring.

After the EM Filip could recover a few days in the circle of his family in Pilsen and now starts on the 7th of February back in the Bundesliga. On this day the quarter final part of the DHB cup versus Gummersbach stands on the programme. So immediately after the EM an important game in which one may not underestimate the opponent Gummersbach.
